First Devlog/Postmortem


Heya, just wanted to share my thoughts here after completing this project.

This was an interesting and fun idea that I worked on, granted I had to cut corners for the sake of my own sanity and time. (Doing my best to not develop crunch habits) Otherwise I did get to mess around with new stuff and learn a bit more about unity - just need to put more practice into it - and some more time to refine it.

Some of the things I would like to return to improve/fix is the Aiming, throw power, block placement/size, enemy variety/quality, Dice Block Variations, Short animations, Polished theming (gotta refine my art skills for this one), and sound effects. While I believe this will forever remain a prototype - I would like to improve this over time, and just take a chance to play around with some Asset store products and see what can be done. Anyways this was my ramble before I submit to the game jam and get some much needed rest.
